Women's History Month

We were incredibly proud to see some of our Hope sheroes featured on ABC11 in a special segment for Women’s History Month! The story spotlighted women breaking barriers in the construction industry—making it the perfect moment to highlight the work happening at Hope.

The segment followed Hope graduate Faith John, alongside several of our current trainees, as they continue to carve out space in a field where women have long been underrepresented. Their determination, skill, and resilience were on full display.

As our amazing Durham instructor, Martrisha Bradshaw, powerfully shared: “We’re coming to work with you. We’re coming to be hired. We hope you make space for us. If you don’t, we’ll make our own space.”
