Steps to Hope

We had the privilege of working for one of our dedicated donors, who entrusted us with a repair job that went beyond simply fixing a physical space; it became a tangible step towards greater independence and a valuable learning experience for our trainees.

The task at hand was to create a sturdy and safe platform with steps leading from the client's house to their garage. More importantly, this project became a real-world classroom for our talented trainees. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, they took on every aspect of the job. 

Witnessing this project come to fruition was a powerful reminder of the "why" behind Hope Renovations. It's not just about preparing underemployed women and gender expansive individuals for careers or helping older adults age in place – it's about the beautiful synergy that happens when these two missions intersect.
