UNC Recognizes Nora Spencer as a Top Ten CNN Hero

"Carolina alumna Nora El-Khouri Spencer '01, '17 (MSW) was named to CNN's “Top 10 CNN Heroes of the Year" for her work with Hope Renovations, which offers a pre-apprenticeship training program for underemployed women to give them the skills to confidently enter the trades or enroll in apprenticeships and continuing trades education."
